April Favourites

Hello Lovelies

I am so sorry for the lack of posting, but I was away on holiday in Dubai. Those who want to see what I did have a look at my Instagram (Aniaaa Pawlak). Anyway, I have some April favourites I wanted to share with you, as it was such a lovely month and I tried some fantastic products. And better late than never right? :)

The Body Shop Body Brush Round
Those of you who know me already, will know how obsessed I am with exfoliation and scrubs. I make my own scrubs most of the time as I like when they are thick and exfoliate well, and I find that the drugstore ones don't do such a great job. You can see my Coffee Scrub recipe here

Exfoliating once or twice a week is essential to have a glowing, smooth skin. It also prevents ingrown hair, and if you use self tan it will help making it look more even. Usually I used a scrub with my hands but then I discovered this brush and it really improves the process, ensuring you target all the areas. Also it helps to stimulate microcirculation and if you have dry skin like me, it will be ideal to keep your skin healthy.

It is important that you run it under the shower first to make it softer, and then after you apply the scrub, use the brush to massage your skin in circular motion. Remember to be carful not to go over the top as you may irritate your skin! Available from The Body Shop, £8.

Linea English Rose Candle Scented Candle
How can you better greet the warm summer months than with a floral candle? This candle from Linea smells of fresh, English roses, filling the room immediately after being lit. It burns for about 40 hours so it will last for a while. Tip - remember to cut the wick every time before lighting!

It looks lovely with other candles or alongside a vase with freshly cut flowers! It comes with a metal top so you can always close it if you don't want the smell to escape when not in use! Available from House Of Fraser, £15

Eve Lom Morning Time Cleanser
I've been looking for a light, morning cleanser for a while now and I recently tried the Morning Time Cleanser from Eve Lom and I absolutely love it. Eve Lom is a widely recognised brand, and very popular, especially amongst the Asian customers, who are well known for their beautiful skin. It contains the Eve Lom's 4 signature aromatic cleaning oils, papaya enzymes and carrot oil to stimulate collagen production.

I used it daily, warming up a small amount in my hands and massaging it into the skin and washing it off with warm water. It is very easy to use, and quick to use, leaving the skin feeling hydrated, glowing with minimised pores. Due to its oily formula, it also removes any remaining makeup that you might have missed the night before. Ideal for all skin types, and it worked wonders for me! Give it a go if you are looking for a morning cleanser. Available from Look Fantastic, £40/125ml

Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water
This is quite new on the market, and since I am a fan of Garnier's Micellar water I could not resist getting this one. It is oil- infused which helps removing makeup, especially waterproof mascara which is often difficult to remove. I was very surprised how much the oil actually improves the product, as it removes the make up effectively, and leaves the skin feeling nourished which is crucial for me as my skin is dry. Very good value for money, especially that I bought it when it was on offer in Boots so I paid around £4! A holy grail beauty product :) Available in Boots, £5.99.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette Naked 2
Last but not least, this makeup palette is a game changer. You have all the necessary colours in one palette which you can take with you wherever you go, thanks to its convenient packaging. You can create any look using the Naked 2 palette, from day makeup to evening makeup.

The beauty of this palette is that you can mix the shadows together, and create unique looks every time. The shade I use the most is half baked but I like them all to be honest! Available from Selfridges, £38.50.

Ania's advice:
1. Decorate your home with beautiful candles
2. Experiment with eyeshadows
3. Enjoy the sun
